Thursday, August 24th, 2010 Jesus Jam was a great success. Great music, great ministry, great food, - overall a wonderful event. We are still in Breesing, KY, except for those rare occasions, like today, when we are in a place where we have wi-fi. We were not able to perform in the Jesus Jam because our piano has malfunctioned and I was unable to repair it. The piano we are looking at is just over $450.00, not including a piano stand. We know that God will provide. We were given the blessing of seeing Dickie and Brenda Rogers, who performed in Jesus Jam this year and are pastoring a church near Elk Horn, KY. We went and ministered there just after Jesus Jam and had a great time. The name of the church is White's Ridge Baptist Church, located on KY-1752, 1/2 mile off SR-76. Except for a few songs, we have not been asked to minister at any of the other churches we have attended. We'll see what happens from here. We will be here for another couple of weeks before moving on through Central Kentucky. While we are here, we will be working on Haven, the retreat that we are building in Breeding, KY. We are trusting God for the provision we need to complete the tasks we have been given to do. We appreciate your prayers and support. Thursday, August 5th, 2010 We are preparing to leave Phenix City, AL Friday morning. We have set a date to minister at New Life / Power of Praise Assembly when we return to this area. Come and join us on Sunday, November 7th. We are scheduled to minister in the evening service. Check the schedule for more information. We were also blessed with the opportunity to minister at Shady Woods Faith Christian Church. We enjoyed being with these wonderful folks and look forward to our next visit. Our next stop is Breeding, KY. We are scheduled to appear at the Jesus Jam on August 14th at 3:00pm. If you have ever been to a Jesus Jam, you know that time slots fluctuate, but all is done according to the leading of the Spirit. This is our tenth Jesus Jam and will be our ninth performance. Please come out and support Seven Springs Ministries, if you can. This is a ministry that we believe in. Any help you give, even if it's just your presence and your prayers, will be appreciated. We hope to see you there. Monday, July 12th, 2010 I owe an apology to those of you who have been keeping up with us on this page. We have had many things happen since our last post. We were unable to get the bus - there have been no donations. That may be a mixed blessing. We have located a newer bus for less money. More on that later. When we got back to Macclenny, FL, we ministered at Emmanuel Church Of God In Christ and had great visits with Kingdom Christian Fellowship International, Joyful Word Christian Fellowship International, First Assembly of God and The Living Word Of Christ Worship Center. After leaving Macclenny, we attended the camp meeting in Panama City at the Springfield Community Church Campground. We enjoyed having fellowship with ministers and friends that we hadn't seen for a while. Our next stop was the Graceville Church of God where we spent time ministering and visiting with a great pastor, Dennis Berry, and our friends there at the church. While were visiting, we went with them to a conference at Amazing Grace Ministries and to a sing at the Grimes Gospel Lighthouse. If all goes as planned, we will be back to sing at Grimes Gospel Lighthouse in late October or early November. From there, we went to Midland City Community Church for camp meeting. We went a week early to help with the setup. This was another great time of ministry and fellowship. We look forward to seeing these wonderful people when we come back through. Now, we are in Phenix City, AL. We have ministered at Bethany Christian Fellowship and will teaching tomorrow at Morning Glory Ministries. Sunday, we will be visiting New Life / Power of Praise Assembly. Other than that, we will just go where the Spirit says to go. Oh, yeah, I was going to tell you about the bus. We have found an MCI bus that is in great shape and is partially converted. We can get this bus for $10,000. It is more suited to the areas that we travel. I will post pictures shortly. Stay tuned. Monday, March 29th, 2010 It's a little hard to believe, but we are still in Ocala. The projects are piling up, but we are making headway. As I mentioned in my last post, we are parked at New Covenant Worship Center . Their website is one of our projects. It's still under construction, but well on it's way. We will be here for a few weeks more. While we are here, we are parked behind the bus that we want to get. It will give us the room we need to carry equipment that will help with our ministry and the ministries that we work with. We can get the bus for $15,000. To find out more about the bus, please visit the Bus Quest page. To find out how you can make a donation toward the purchase of the bus, please visit the Ministry Needs page. Saturday, March 13th, 2010 If you use this page to keep track of us, I have to apologize for taking so long to catch up. That being said, we left Kentucky and stopped in Phenix City, AL. After visiting with Bethany Christian Fellowship and Living Word Full Gospel Church, we moved on to Midland City, AL where we spent a little time at Midland City Community Church. From there, we headed to Glen St. Mary, FL for Christmas with the family. We were able to visit many ministries in that area before we moved further south into Florida. We ministered at New River New Congregational Methodist Church in Lawtey, FL, visited Lighthouse Global Ministries in Waldo, FL, ministered at Williams Memorial Church Of God In Christ in Gainesville, FL and New Covenant Worship Center in Ocala, FL. We are still in Ocala waiting to see where God sends us next. That catches us up. If you would like to have us minister at your church or ministry, please contact us. |
