Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 My how time flies. Camp meeting was great. The Old Country Church has opened the new part of the sanctuary and has a larger stage. We saw old friends and made new ones. There was even one young lady there that we knew from a youth camp in Missouri, back about seven years ago. She's 14 now and has become quite a young lady. There were other teens there, too, who banded together to sing worship songs in a couple of the services. What a blessing!! I, for one, will do all I can to assure that these kids are encouraged to take part in future services. On another subject, we have bad news and good news. Samson has passed away at the ripe old age of eleven. He got to spend some time in his favorite place (the peice of land we call Haven) and is buried there. He was a wonderful companion and we will miss him. The good news, though, is that two weeks after Samson died, Lynda went to an animal shelter with a friend and decided to look at dogs since she was there anyway. What she found was a Siberian Husky, not quite two years old who is exactly the kind of dog we needed to have, now that Samson is gone. The new addition to the family is called Deacon and has settled in to life on the road very quickly. He has a lot of love and doesn't mind sharing. Our other good news has to do with Haven. The material from the house we demolished has been moved onto the property. Now we can start building the first cabin. I would like to get it built and dried in this coming week. We can put on the finishing touches on the next trip. By Sunday, November 13th, we would like to be well on our way to Midland City, AL., where we've been invited to spend Thanksgiving. They've been talking about snow up here in Kentucky, so I guess we need to head south so they can have some. Wednesday, September 24th, 2011 It's been a while since I posted here. I won't try to summarize everything that has gone on. We are in Mt. Eden, KY in advance of the Fall Camp Meeting at Old Country Church. The new sanctuary is open and just needs the finishing touches. As you may have read, Samson is no longer with us. We will miss him. It didn't take long, though, for the Lord to bless us with Deacon, a Siberian Husky. He's learning quickly and travels well. He doesn't play like Samson did, but he's very lovable. Maybe he will learn to play. Stay tuned. We have a new CD out. It's called "Piano Devotion" and includes 16 instrumental songs of worship. People have asked me for many years about the possibility of makeing a CD of piano music. Well, here it is. If you would like to order this CD, just contact us. I will put it on the merchandise page at a later date when I have more regular internet access. Tuesday, July 12th, 2011 Well, as you may have realized, I attempted to put a Facebook feed on this page. It worked for a while, but then stopped. When I can get it worked out, I will put it back up. Meanwhile, you can follow us on Facebook. Even when we do not have access to the internet, I update our status from my cell phone. Since so much time has passed, I will not attempt to cover everything we have been doing. In summary, the revivals and healing services have been great - especially when you consider that there has been little or no notice in most cases. Still, the miracles continue to flow. As a matter of fact, if you would like to write and tell us what God has done for you in one of our services, we would love to share those testimonies with everyone. We have visited some new churches, seen old friends and been in a couple of camp meetings. We just wrapped up the camp meeting at Midland City Community Church, Midland City, AL. Try to make your plans to attend next year's camp meeting if you can. Keep in mind, too, that if you are a musician in the area, this ministry needs musicians. It's an opportunity to help build a ministry, pretty much from the ground up. After all, aren't we called to serve? Since Jesus Jam is postponed, we will be reexamining our upcoming schedule. Keep checking back. We will post new dates on our schedule as they come up. Saturday, April 9th, 2011 The camp meeting in February was a bit like how I think Heaven will be. The congregation was interdenominational, but you would never have known it. People were not focusing on their differences or their pet doctrines. They were all worshipping together, putting the emphasis on God instead of their church politics. We had a great time. We already have it on our schedule for next year. We had the privilege of ministering at the Rose of Sharon Worship Center in Slones Ridge, FL. It had been two years since our last visit. Hopefully, it won't be so long next time. We went from there to Christian Worship Center in Center Hill, FL. It was nice to see friends that we haven't seen for so long. Our next stop was Wells of Salvation in Coleman, FL. We had a great service, even after the enemy tried to put a stop to it. He don't get to win, though. That brought us back to Ocala, FL., where We ministered at New Covenant Worship Center and at True Faith and Worship Ministry. I won't go into everything we did in Ocala, but we seldom slowed down. Before we left, I taught a one-day seminar on "The Jezebel Spirit". Every true believer should know about this pure evil that is running rampant through many churches. We videotaped the seminar, but I haven't watched it back yet. If the video is usable, I will be making it available. Another unique experience in Ocala was my first visit to a Messianic Synagogue. While I felt that some of the leaders were leary of me, the overall environment was warm and inviting. There are some who criticize even Messianic Jews, but it is important to understand that without the children of Israel, we would not have the plan of redemption that Yeshua (Jesus) paid such a high price for. They are the vine that we are grafted into. I look forward to worshipping with them again. After leaving Ocala, we stopped in to visit Williams Memorial Church of God in Christ in Gainesville, FL. where we will be ministering this Sunday. Pastor Dale Williams is a very dear friend and a wonderful musician. I always look forward to our visits. We are also looking forward to our upcoming revival in Macclenny, FL. at Living Word of Christ Worship Center. The last time we were there, over twenty people were healed. We are expecting another round of signs and wonders. Hope we see you there. Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 Since our last post, we have had some great services. Among the most notable were a couple of services with The Living Word of Christ Worship Center in Macclenny, FL. In a Sunday service, one young lady had a lump in her breast disappear, another person had back pain disappear and the list goes on. After that service, though, it was decided that we would have a healing service on a Tuesday night. The word was spread and 18 people were healed of a variety of conditions. One young lady had a leg that was shorter that the other by a few inches. Because of that, she had pain in her back from trying to compensate. When we ministered to her, her leg grew out, making the two legs even. Everyone who came to be healed got an instantaneous healing - just as it was in the new testament of the Bible. This is how it is supposed to be in every service, in every church. If you're seeing people walk out of your church in the same sorry condition as when they walked in, there is something wrong that needs to be corrected. Most of the time it is the teaching (or lack of teaching) that keeps people down. In Hosea, Chapter 4, God is telling the children of Israel that, because of their rejection of His commandments and their lack of knowledge of God, that the people will fall. Then, in verse 6, He tells them, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:" The same is true now. the vast majority of people who claim to know God have a serious lack of knowledge of the nature of God and His spiritual principles. Without that knowledge, they blow their witness by showing the world defeat and then die before their time. What's worse is that this sickness, frailty and death are said to be "according to the will and the plan of God." Nothing could be farther from the truth. It is that kind of thinking that keeps churchgoers from seeing the kind of miracles that they claim to long for. If you want to see the miracles, change the teaching. Get back to the Word and stop trying to justify failure by teaching that defeat is natural and inevitable. Enough of that for now. We are in Ocala, FL for two more days. Friday, we will head to Kissimmee for a camp meeting. I really can't give you any details. We've never been there before. We are hoping that the Spirit will be in charge. It's always better that way. We'll let you know how it goes. Thursday, December 2nd, 2010 We had a great time sharing Thanksgiving with our family. Our grandchildren were a joy. Our son and his family have returned to their home in Texas, but we will stay in the area through the end of December. We are looking forward to this Sunday's visit with Emmanuel COGIC. Every service we have ever been to at that church has been a time of praise and has been directed by the Spirit of God. Join us if you can. Come to the morning service, though. I don't think there is an evening service on the first Sunday of the month. Thursday, November 18th, 2010 We are now in Glen St. Mary, FL., preparing for Thanksgiving with our family. On the way here, we worked, ministered and fellowshipped. We demolished a house to salvage building materials. We ministered at Santa Fee Baptist Church in Columbia, KY., New Life / Power Of Praise Assembly Of God in Phenix City, AL., Midland City Community Church in Midland City, AL. and Frith Hill Community Church in Dothana, AL. We visitted and fellowshipped with Sparksville Baptist Church in Sparksville, KY., Bethany Christian Fellowship in Phenix City, AL., Faith Holiness House Of Prayer in Woodville, FL. and Mayo Community Holiness Church in Mayo, FL. Now, we're back in Glen St. Mary, FL. to spend the holidays with family and prepare for the next round of ministry. As we confirm our schedule, we will post the information on this website and on the mobile website (mobile.willisministries.org). We are looking forward to a fruitful year in 2011. We are expecting to see more souls saved, more people delivered and more people healed than ever before. Just maybe, we'll get to see you along the way. We love you all. Friday, October 15th, 2010 Since our last post, we had a wonderful service with Chestnut Grove Christian Church and a few other ministries. We had an opportunity to visit with Santa Fee Baptist Church in Columbia, KY. We have been in contact with Pastor Louis Henry since then and have been scheduled to ministrer there on October 31st. Come be with us if you can. After a few stops, we arrived at Old Country Church in Mt. Eden, KY. This is the last day of their Fall Camp Meeting. Since we have been here, we have been invited to New Birth Mission Church in Loretto, KY. We will be ministering there this Sunday, October 17th. Just take State Road west out of Lebanon, KY and look for the church. That's what we'll be doing. Under the category of 'new stuff', we now have a mobile website. On your web-enabled cell phone, just go to mobile.willisministries.org. We might acquire a mobile domain at some point, but this works just as good. Right now, we have our contact information and our immediate schedule. We will be adding more as we go. We hope you enjoy it. Friday, September 3rd, 2010 We are still here in Breeding, KY., working on the property where we are building Haven, a place of rest for travelling ministers. We have a storage building that will be a workshop. We will build another building before working on the main cabin. We are planning to use solar energy at Haven. The water will come from a spring that we have started to develop in the creek below. Right now, we are salvaging building materials from the demolition of a house. These salvaged materials have been donated. If you would like to help with this project, please contact us. This Sunday, September 5th, we will be ministering at Chestnut Grove Christian Church in Breeding, KY. These are wonderful people who are in need of a pastor. In the interim, they are having various ministers come in each Sunday. This Sunday, it is our privilege and we look forward to it. Thursday, August 24th, 2010 Jesus Jam was a great success. Great music, great ministry, great food, - overall a wonderful event. We are still in Breesing, KY, except for those rare occasions, like today, when we are in a place where we have wi-fi. We were not able to perform in the Jesus Jam because our piano has malfunctioned and I was unable to repair it. The piano we are looking at is just over $450.00, not including a piano stand. We know that God will provide. We were given the blessing of seeing Dickie and Brenda Rogers, who performed in Jesus Jam this year and are pastoring a church near Elk Horn, KY. We went and ministered there just after Jesus Jam and had a great time. The name of the church is White's Ridge Baptist Church, located on KY-1752, 1/2 mile off SR-76. Except for a few songs, we have not been asked to minister at any of the other churches we have attended. We'll see what happens from here. We will be here for another couple of weeks before moving on through Central Kentucky. While we are here, we will be working on Haven, the retreat that we are building in Breeding, KY. We are trusting God for the provision we need to complete the tasks we have been given to do. We appreciate your prayers and support. Thursday, August 5th, 2010 We are preparing to leave Phenix City, AL Friday morning. We have set a date to minister at New Life / Power of Praise Assembly when we return to this area. Come and join us on Sunday, November 7th. We are scheduled to minister in the evening service. Check the schedule for more information. We were also blessed with the opportunity to minister at Shady Woods Faith Christian Church. We enjoyed being with these wonderful folks and look forward to our next visit. Our next stop is Breeding, KY. We are scheduled to appear at the Jesus Jam on August 14th at 3:00pm. If you have ever been to a Jesus Jam, you know that time slots fluctuate, but all is done according to the leading of the Spirit. This is our tenth Jesus Jam and will be our ninth performance. Please come out and support Seven Springs Ministries, if you can. This is a ministry that we believe in. Any help you give, even if it's just your presence and your prayers, will be appreciated. We hope to see you there. Monday, July 12th, 2010 I owe an apology to those of you who have been keeping up with us on this page. We have had many things happen since our last post. We were unable to get the bus - there have been no donations. That may be a mixed blessing. We have located a newer bus for less money. More on that later. When we got back to Macclenny, FL, we ministered at Emmanuel Church Of God In Christ and had great visits with Kingdom Christian Fellowship International, Joyful Word Christian Fellowship International, First Assembly of God and The Living Word Of Christ Worship Center. After leaving Macclenny, we attended the camp meeting in Panama City at the Springfield Community Church Campground. We enjoyed having fellowship with ministers and friends that we hadn't seen for a while. Our next stop was the Graceville Church of God where we spent time ministering and visiting with a great pastor, Dennis Berry, and our friends there at the church. While were visiting, we went with them to a conference at Amazing Grace Ministries and to a sing at the Grimes Gospel Lighthouse. If all goes as planned, we will be back to sing at Grimes Gospel Lighthouse in late October or early November. From there, we went to Midland City Community Church for camp meeting. We went a week early to help with the setup. This was another great time of ministry and fellowship. We look forward to seeing these wonderful people when we come back through. Now, we are in Phenix City, AL. We have ministered at Bethany Christian Fellowship and will teaching tomorrow at Morning Glory Ministries. Sunday, we will be visiting New Life / Power of Praise Assembly. Other than that, we will just go where the Spirit says to go. Oh, yeah, I was going to tell you about the bus. We have found an MCI bus that is in great shape and is partially converted. We can get this bus for $10,000. It is more suited to the areas that we travel. I will post pictures shortly. Stay tuned. Monday, March 29th, 2010 It's a little hard to believe, but we are still in Ocala. The projects are piling up, but we are making headway. As I mentioned in my last post, we are parked at New Covenant Worship Center . Their website is one of our projects. It's still under construction, but well on it's way. We will be here for a few weeks more. While we are here, we are parked behind the bus that we want to get. It will give us the room we need to carry equipment that will help with our ministry and the ministries that we work with. We can get the bus for $15,000. To find out more about the bus, please visit the Bus Quest page. To find out how you can make a donation toward the purchase of the bus, please visit the Ministry Needs page. Saturday, March 13th, 2010 If you use this page to keep track of us, I have to apologize for taking so long to catch up. That being said, we left Kentucky and stopped in Phenix City, AL. After visiting with Bethany Christian Fellowship and Living Word Full Gospel Church, we moved on to Midland City, AL where we spent a little time at Midland City Community Church. From there, we headed to Glen St. Mary, FL for Christmas with the family. We were able to visit many ministries in that area before we moved further south into Florida. We ministered at New River New Congregational Methodist Church in Lawtey, FL, visited Lighthouse Global Ministries in Waldo, FL, ministered at Williams Memorial Church Of God In Christ in Gainesville, FL and New Covenant Worship Center in Ocala, FL. We are still in Ocala waiting to see where God sends us next. That catches us up. If you would like to have us minister at your church or ministry, please contact us. |
